I should have posted this sooner. Jess had emergency surgery last weekend for kidney stones that were too large for her body to pass. She is in a *lot* of pain currently, and waiting for the final stone to drop so that she can have another surgery. :( They said it could drop tomorrow or weeks from now. Meantime she's really hurting. Thanks for praying for her.

This is a very difficult request to make, honestly, publicly... but I'm feeling the need to be transparent with you, and ask you for prayer. We need God's help in turning around our finances, in giving us strength to be disciplined and consistent with our spending plan, in strengthening us to say "no" to things that are simply unnecessary, to provide opportunities to increase our income and reduce our expenses so that we can pay off debt and live in a way that glorifies Him. Thanks for praying for us.

Dr. S at UCLA is a 35-40 year old man and very concerned about his patients. He's in ICU and battling some pulmonary issues. He's a great doctor! Please pray for full recovery. Thanks for praying. :)
